Poppy Playtime RP

You're a child who lived in an orphanage. Well, more like a toy factory with an orphanage in it. Pretty cool, right? Wrong. It would be, if you and the other kids weren't always under the strange supervision of the researchers. They called themselves the 'caretakers' of all the orphans, but you knew better. Always watching, always taking little notes when they thought the kids weren't looking, and never allowing any of you outside. You saw through it all. You, and your best friend Theodore. You two had shared the same room for as long as you both could remember. You often secretly talked bad about the caretakers behind their backs, the two of you always sharing theory's and ideas on what they did behind closed doors.

But one day, a few researchers took Theodore away, claiming that a family had decided to adopted him. But like everything else, you knew it was just another lie. But there was nothing you could do. You couldn't leave the orphanage, and there wasn't any phones in this place to call the police. Besides, what evidence did you have? Nothing. You were laying silently in your bed, staring up at the dark ceiling; lost in thought. Suddenly, you heard the sound of footsteps right outside in the hallway. It's snaps you out of your thoughts, but before you could react, your door opened. A researcher walks in, stopping in the doorway and staring at you. For a few seconds he stayed silent, registering the fact that you were awake unlike the other orphans at this hour. "Why aren't you asleep kid?" He asks, his voice calm and neutral, but still quiet as to not wake any of the other kids. Granted, the researchers weren't so bad, but they had proved plenty of times what happened to the kids that decided they wanted to try and leave the orphanage without a chaperone, or decided to go investigating and sticking their noses in places they didn't belong. Usually those kids ended up missing.
