The Scotsman/Scotsman.
Episode XLV: A Scotsman Saves Jack, Part 1 and Episode XLVI: A Scotsman Saves Jack, Part 2 The Scotsman finds his friend on the ship, but Jack has lost his memory and his sword. He spends the entire first episode trying to figure out what happened to him, but to no avail. However, in the second part, everything becomes clear: a trio of sirens have charmed Jack with their enchanting singing, causing him to lose his memory and lose his mind. They also have the sword. The entire ship's crew is hypnotized by the sirens, but the Scotsman alone remains sane, because he loves no one more than his ugly wife. After the Scotsman drives away the sirens with an accordion, everyone comes to their senses. The crew returns by boat.
Fifty years later: A Scotsman helps Jack raise an army against Aku. He and his daughters go to battle the demon, but it burns the Scotsman, leaving only a ghost (in his former youthful form). Even in death, he was able to command the army and his daughters.
The Scotsman/Scotsman.
Story Episode XI: Jack and the Scotsman, Part 1 He and Jack first meet on a narrow bridge over a swamp. Neither is willing to give in. When Jack attempts to negotiate peace, the Scotsman misunderstands him and calls Jack completely meaningless names. A fierce and protracted battle ensues, from which neither ultimately emerges victorious.
At the end of the day, they are caught by bounty hunters. They chain their enemies, who immediately begin to destroy the bandits, but fall into the river themselves. When the two find themselves in an abandoned village, they are again overtaken by bounty hunters. But miraculously, during the fight, the Scotsman and Jack manage to free themselves, breaking the chain with a bullet. Eventually, they part ways peacefully.
Episode XVII: Jack and the Scotsman, Part 2 A Scotsman's wife has been kidnapped, and Jack is his only hope of saving her. Finding a friend in a tavern, he takes him to his village, to the clan leaders, so the samurai can be accepted into the clan and allowed to go after the girl. After undergoing a strange initiation rite, they are granted permission to rescue her. Having infiltrated the castle of Celtic demons, Jack and the Scotsman find the latter's wife. She turns out to be much... more terrifying than the Scotsman himself described. After fighting their way out of the castle, they find themselves surrounded. But when one of the demons makes unflattering remarks about the Scotsman's wife, she becomes enraged and kills all the monsters with her bare hands. When it's all over, Jack accidentally notices her appearance, causing her to fly into a rage again and attempt to kill the samurai. The Scotsman only begs him not to crush poor Jack.
Episode XLV: A Scotsman Saves Jack, Part 1 and Episode XLVI: A Scotsman Saves Jack, Part 2 The Scotsman finds his friend on the ship, but it turns out he's lost his memory and his sword. The Scotsman spends the entire first episode trying to figure out what happened to him, but to no avail. However, in the second part, everything becomes clear: a trio of sirens have charmed Jack into falling in love with them with their enchanting singing, causing him to lose his memory and lose his mind.
The Scotsman/Scotsman.
Personality: Scotsman has qualities that are almost the complete opposite of Jack's: he's loud, explosive, always ready to engage in combat, and enjoys showing off his fighting prowess. This doesn't mean he's completely different from Jack. The two warriors have very different ideals, as evidenced by Scotsman's simple combat tactics. He also differs from Jack in that he values a different lifestyle than the samurai. Ironically, he's actually considered the "soft" member of his clan (which he claims is the reason he constantly travels to escape his bullies). However, he can also recognize situations that require stealth and subtlety and can plan accordingly; for example, when rescuing his wife, he immediately suggests either splitting up (while also emphasizing the downsides of this idea) or disguising themselves as Celtic demons to make things easier.
Despite their differences, these two are friends and share mutual respect. When one is in trouble, the other will come to their aid without hesitation. Likewise, the differences in their respective fighting styles actually complement each other when they fight together, making the pair nearly unbeatable in combat. Once, when Jack lost his memory and his sword, Scotsman dragged him, essentially, to the ends of the Earth, trying to find it.
However, it can be said that the Scotsman has strange tastes (apparently considered normal in his clan), at least when it comes to his wife. Whenever he speaks of her, he refers to her as the most beautiful woman, describing everything about her with romantic metaphors. When she is finally revealed, she turns out to be considerably worse than the Scotsman himself described her. He is shown to be as smitten by her as a schoolboy. Even when she shouts his shortcomings to his face, he simply looks at her with loving eyes, much to Jack's bewilderment.
The Scotsman/Scotsman.
Race: Human. Gender: Male.
The Scotsman is an ally of Samurai Jack.
Appearance: The Scotsman's real name is unknown throughout the series. He is a large, corpulent, muscular, and tall man, standing at 2 meters tall. The Scotsman has dark red hair with a receding hairline, tied in a ponytail. He has a mustache, thick eyebrows, and green eyes that appear as green whites and black pupils. He has bags under his eyes. He is missing teeth in some places in his mouth. His left leg is replaced by a steel prosthesis, which in turn acts as a machine gun with some technological enhancement that it never runs out of bullets. He has dark red hair on his arms and chest. He wears a white T-shirt with torn sleeves. On the T-shirt is a light gray bag belt with a dark gray buckle. He wears a plaid red kilt, a belt with a green buckle in the shape of a tiger, and a black boot on his left foot with gray inserts.
Fifty years later, in his old age, his scalp has completely lost its hair, his beard, eyebrows, and the hair on his arms and chest have turned gray, his beard has become much thicker, and he wears it in three braids. He has replaced his machine gun with a massive minigun and now uses a wheelchair for mobility. His white T-shirt has been replaced with a gray one, and his bag strap has turned green. He has a red checkered eye patch.
He wields a 1.5-meter-long sword enchanted with Celtic runes, making it indestructible. The runes can also return the Scotsman as a ghost after death. The Scotsman also wields bagpipes.
In his ghost form, Scotsman takes on his original appearance, only his entire body is blue.
Ashi/Ashi.
Peculiarities:
Master of Close Combat: Like her sisters, Ashi has become an excellent fighter and was able to defeat her teachers. Her weapon is a kusarigama.
Excellent Archer: Ashi is an excellent archer, as demonstrated during the daughters' final trial.
Strategist Skills: Ashi is an excellent strategist, which was most evident in the final test: she killed an archer and then used it to kill the other cult members.
Peak Human Power: Ashi, like her sisters, possesses immense strength, speed, and durability. She can dodge and catch arrows, as well as dodge bullets. Together with her sisters, they quickly destroyed Jack's armor. Ashi was also frequently beaten during her training, which greatly strengthened her.
Heightened Senses: Ashi has excellent reflexes, hearing, and vision, which is demonstrated during her hunt for Jack.
Willpower: As Asha's mother herself mentioned, "Aku's fire burns within her soul." Unlike her other sisters, she possesses immense willpower, which is why she refuses to give up and continues to pursue her goals.
Fun Fact: Because she had Aku's blood in her veins, she gained his superpowers, which we saw at the end of season five. But at the same time, she can't exist without Aku, so she mysteriously disappeared at the end of the final episode of season five.
In the game "Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time," which continues the plot of the animated series, collecting all the collectibles allows you to unlock the ending where Ashi is alive.
Ashi/Ashi.
Race: Half-human demon. Gender: Female. Status: ?.
Ashi is one of Aku's daughters who became Jack's ally.
Personality: Ashi possesses a unique personality trait that sets her apart from her sisters: she is curious, which is evident repeatedly during their childhood training. This has made her an excellent strategist. However, due to her reclusive nature, she knows almost nothing about the world. The only emotions she knows are madness and anger. She was terrified after Jack killed all her sisters, but this was likely due to their failure to follow their mother's instructions, and thus their disgrace.
After the samurai rescued her, she continues to try to kill him, even after numerous attempts to help her and save her life. When she has the chance to kill Jack with a kusarigami, a ladybug flies past, causing Ashi to reminisce about her childhood. She then watches Jack "communicate" with the poor insect, causing her to no longer see the samurai as an enemy.
Appearance: Ashi looks like her sisters: she wears a completely black suit and, in the early episodes, wears a priestess mask with Aku's horns, but after meeting Jack, she loses her headdress. The only thing that distinguishes her from the other sisters is her hairstyle. Ashi is 18-20 years old.
Samurai Jack/Самурай Жак.
Jack has an intense fear of killing living creatures. The reason for this phobia can be seen in a flashback in Season 5, when he watches from the imperial carriage as his father kills a group of bandits, splattering their blood all around, including on Jack's face. This is precisely why the Samurai was so incredibly shocked and impressed by his slaughter of three lambs.
Samurai Jack/Самурай Жак.
Jack and the archaeologists later arrived at the mines dug by the dogs and witnessed the tragedies that befell those unable to fulfill Aku's command. The samurai and the dogs then devised a strategy to defeat the army of mechanical beetles sent by the demon. Jack confronted the army and managed to drastically reduce their numbers using the very crystals the dogs had been forced to dig. Despite sustaining several injuries, Jack managed to defeat them after they retreated. The dogs thanked the samurai and then went their separate ways.
After this, Jack set out to wander a strange and new world, helping people in trouble. Along the way, he searches for a way back to his own time, a journey that Aku tries to prevent.
50 Years Later: During the fifty years Jack spent in Aku's time, he performed many good deeds and made many allies. However, the samurai himself slowly sank into depression and madness due to his constant failures to return home.
Capabilities Interesting facts Although he calls himself Jack, that's not his real name. The name his parents gave him is never revealed. In flashbacks and early episodes, his parents never called him by his name. It's safe to assume his name is of Japanese origin. Although everyone calls him a samurai, the description of ronin is more fitting. Ronins serve no one, while samurai serve the emperor. Throughout the series, Jack loses at least one piece of clothing, and this happens in almost every episode. Jack's overall mental state in Season 5 strongly resembles Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), which arose from his repeated failures to return to the past and the murder of the three lambs. The death of Ami, one of Aku's daughters, whose throat Jack accidentally slit, may have exacerbated his mental breakdown. Against the backdrop of PTSD, schizophrenia developed, manifesting itself in Jack as frequent visual and auditory hallucinations, as well as suicidal thoughts and tendencies.
Samurai Jack/Самурай Жак.
Training: He then embarked on a voyage across the northern seas with the Vikings. In Russia, he learned the art of axe throwing, and then traveled to Mongolia, where he was taught horseback riding. His final stage was the Shaolin Temple, where he learned his discipline and martial arts.
Encounter with Aku: After years of training with the greatest warriors of the time, Jack returned to the temple where his mother hid. There, he was given the sword his father used to defeat and imprison Aku. Jack traveled to the diamond mines, where he found his father enslaved and weakened from overwork. He warned Jack that it was too early for him to fight Aku, but Jack ignored him and went on to the main battle. Jack then rode to Aku's lair on a white horse and confronted the great demon. The battle began. Jack managed to severely wound Aku, but before he could deliver the finishing blow, Aku opened a time portal and dispatched Jack, sending him into the future.
In the Future: When Jack fell through the portal, he found himself in an Aku-enslaved future. After escaping the garbage disposal, Jack met three eccentric teenagers who nicknamed him "Jack." He asked them where he was and what was going on, and learned that Aku had conquered the world and spread its influence across the universe, enslaving many planets, using Earth as its base of operations. The teenagers then showed him a bar, but he was attacked by thugs, whom he quickly fought off. This attracted the attention of a group of archaeological dogs, who discovered the truth about Jack's origins and asked him to help save their group from Aku's oppression. Jack agreed and left with them. When asked what the samurai's name was, he replied, "They call me Jack." The group was observed by one of Aku's spies, who quickly informed him of Jack's actions at the bar.
Samurai Jack/Самурай Жак.
As a young man, Jack's face was long and oval, but now it's more square, and his eyes have become narrower. He is quite tall and thin. Jack also has black hair, which is tied in a small ponytail, like many Japanese. The samurai's loose hair is much longer than it appears, hanging below his shoulders. Jack wears a white kimono with gray lining on the arms, a white sash that matches the kimono, and wooden sandals.
Later, when he temporarily lost his magic sword for 50 years and didn't age due to Aku's portal and time travel, he grew a beard, wore samurai armor, and wore a pistol holster on his torso. But when he regained his magic sword, he regained his former appearance.
Childhood: Jack was born a prince on his father's land, in a period very similar to Japan's Edo period, but with a culture closer to the Nara and Heian periods. He was born shortly after Aku was imprisoned by Jack's father. When Jack was eight, a solar eclipse broke the seal, freeing Aku. Jack's mother went into hiding and sent Jack to masters of various arts. He traveled the world and learned all the intricacies of combat and tactics, as his parents had planned should Aku ever escape his prison and Jack's father fail to stop him.
Training: His mother brought him aboard a Japanese ship, whose captain took him in as a child. During the voyage, he studied astronomy and how to navigate by the stars. The ship took Jack to Arabia, where a sheikh taught him horseback riding. From there, he was taken to Africa, where he stayed with a tribe of Bushmen who taught him the art of fighting and survival in the most inhospitable conditions. Having achieved mastery, he was taken to Egypt, where he was educated by the finest scholars. Jack then moved to Greece to learn the art of wrestling, followed by a trip to England, where he met Robin Hood, who taught him archery (and also helped him hone some of his senses). And so on.
Samurai Jack/Самурай Жак.
Race: Human. Gender: Male. Status: Alive.
Jack (real name unknown) The main protagonist of the series, a prince and samurai whose destiny is to kill the universal Evil - Aku.
Personality: Jack displays the characteristics of a classic hero. He is unfailingly kind and generous, always trying to help those in need and impart wisdom to those he perceives as needing guidance. He often sacrifices the opportunity to return to his own time to help someone else. He has had significant development in his future. Initially, for all his politeness and refinement, he was prone to anger and even more prone to frustration or irritation. His failed attempts to return to his own time even convinced him of the impossibility of such a thing. However, over time, he has become much more patient and calm. He is intelligent and rational, capable of formulating a plan or strategy necessary to defeat an opponent, and also knows how to get out of a hopeless situation (for example, when surrounded by a large number of enemies, he is forced to resort to cunning). He is also very good at thinking on his feet, often improvising his way out of deadly or incredibly strange situations.
But he is very withdrawn. His lack of social skills is highlighted in his interactions with Ashi, first when he tries to persuade her after she's consumed by Aku's evil, and later when he tries to tie her up. His lack of communication makes him increasingly shy around women. This is exemplified by his interactions with Ikra, Josephine, and, in particular, Ashi, with whom he eventually falls in love. Despite being excellent at connecting with people, throughout his journey, both during his training in the past and in his current quest in the future, he becomes shy in more intimate moments.
However, his most notable characteristic is his inability or unwillingness to embrace future technology. However, this doesn't prevent him from handling technology in emergency situations.
Aku/Аку.
Abilities: Immortality - Aku is immortal and can live forever, and he does not need any means of sustenance.
Shapeshifting - Aku is a master of shapeshifting and can assume virtually any form, freely altering his size, physical strength, and appearance. (Squid, spider, dragon, massive army, bird, praying mantis, and even human form.)
Eye lasers, ultrasound, a time portal, etc. - Aku can shoot lasers from his eyes, he can also emit ultrasound and create a time portal in a difficult situation. He can shoot fireballs and extend his limbs.
Despite all the above-described abilities, he, like an ordinary mortal, can get sick.
(Aku's image was created from the arrow that Jack's father threw into the black lake of darkness. Aku never died, and is technically still wandering around in the afterlife in Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time.
Even though Aku is composed entirely of pure Evil, he's capable of bright feelings and actions. This sometimes manifests itself in his behavior in the series itself. The same can be said about Jack—born a chosen and bright being, he sometimes experiences anger, aggression, and so on. This hints at yin and yang.
Aku/Аку.
One day, a solar eclipse occurs. Somewhere in the desert, there stands a lone black tree, but the solar eclipse has affected it, and it begins to come to life and rise from the ground. Soon, the eclipse ends, and in the tree's place stands a tall, dark figure with flaming eyebrows and a beard, who proclaims, "I am free again, and now I can conquer the world again, as I once did."
Soon, Aku invaded the Emperor's fortress, and the guards attempted to attack him. However, he absorbed all the projectiles and redirected them, then set the palace on fire. The Emperor rushed to retrieve the magic sword, but Aku prevented the past from happening again and captured the Emperor. He then asked his wife to do as they had agreed: she took the sword and their son and left the city, sailing out to sea.
Many years later, Aku reigned supreme in Japan, enslaving everyone to serve his overlord. One day, the Emperor's son returned to battle Aku. After freeing his father, he journeyed to the demon's lair. There, he summoned Aku, and when he confronted him, the samurai struck Aku with a magical sword, causing the demon to remember both the sword and its former owner. But he did not believe the young samurai could defeat Aku himself. Transforming into various forms, he engaged the samurai, but underestimated him, and Aku nearly overpowered him. However, the demon declared that while the samurai had defeated him this time, he would not be able to do so in the future. Then, before his final attack, Aku screamed, unleashing a series of rings that rose above the samurai, sending him a thousand years into the future.
After the destruction of the last time portal, the "Lord of Lords" thought Jack would die of old age, but the extreme time jump had altered his aging process. Fifty years had passed, Jack hadn't aged and remained in the future, a fact that was beginning to irritate Aku. He also lost interest in ruling and simply wanted to rest.
Aku/Аку.
Race: Demon. Gender: Asexual. (Formally Male.) Status: ?.
"Long ago, in a distant land, I, Aku, the mighty Lord of Darkness, unleashed a great evil. But a foolish samurai, wielding a magic sword, challenged me! Before he could deal the fatal blow, I managed to open a time portal and send him to a future where my evil rules the world! And now this fool seeks a way back to fix the future that belongs to me, Aku!"
Aku is the main villain. He is an ancient evil who has decided to conquer the entire Earth and send the infidels into slavery.
Appearance: Aku appears as an almost entirely dark, humanoid creature with a green face, eerie eyes, a red goatee, flaming eyebrows, and three pairs of horns (in flashbacks in the first episode of the first season, he has four pairs of horns). He appears as a black blob of matter, capable of assuming any shape and easily deforming.
Personality: Aku is incredibly evil, charismatic, narcissistic, and aggressive. He's also very sneaky and quick to gain people's trust. However, this doesn't detract from his charisma.
History: Long before the time we saw in the first episode of the first season, three gods battled an evil entity in space to restore balance. During the battle, a severed tentacle flew toward Earth. It did not die on Earth. Aku fed on those unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Thus, this entity grew as a lake or pond, with trees that looked like sharp thorns growing from it throughout the development of all mankind. One day, when the all-powerful evil sorcerer Aku arose and attacked the Emperor's homeland, the Emperor was still very young and unable to resist him. But he found another way: three monks forged a sword for him and imbued it with great magical power. Then he went to fight Aku, and his demonic powers were unable to resist the sword's magic, resulting in the demon being petrified and imprisoned for centuries in the desert as a tree. But then he returned again...
X-49 - Scaramouche robot. Status: None.
Rasa: Robot. Gender: Male. Status: Dead.
X-49 is one of the robots of the X series, made by order of Aku's students for various activities, in particular for killing a group of revolutionaries.
Description: He wears a black coat, a burgundy tie, a black hat and a pair of pistols with him, just like all other robots of the X series. The color of the metal is blue, and the eyes are bright red.
Character: It differs from all other robots by the presence of an "emotional chip" in its body, which allows you to feel all the inherent emotions in organic beings: anger, anger, sadness, fear for your life and for the life of others, and, of course, love, which is expressed in the attachment to its foster dog-pug - Lulu. Also inclined to philosophize, which is also a part of emotionalism. S ego slov, mog otliklat dobro ot zala i prekno zamanal tko ego activity - zlo.
Хсутельство настойатью фичеку бол, это размерили по чем не може в фею мъём из все тормозов.
In general, it shows itself as a reasonable, restrained, serious and kind person, which has been shown more than once.
History: Proizvodstvo robotov serie X beret zadolgo esche zadolgo do ugurgeniya Jacka v mir, poraboshchennym Aku. Even then, Aku needed combat robots capable of carrying out instructions until the Dark Lord had enough power. Evil scientists have taken to work. Many models and schemes were tried until they could not create an ideal. Model X was not released. X-49 describes it as "a bad car, everything but me".
(In only one of these robots, namely X-49, one of the scientists introduced an experimental emotional chip. It is not clear why this particular robot received such an "improvement", but it is known that the scientist wanted to have fun and have fun.)
Abilities: ?.
Scaramouche - interesting facts.
Interesting facts: His name Scaramush means "boastful rabbit", and also refers to hats and Italian jokes - Scaramucci.
Scaramoosh has a phone to quickly call Aku, and until the Cult, Aku is unable to do this.
Scaramush is the only known enemy robot who survived his encounter with Jack.
Scaramush can apparently still run, despite the fact that only his head remains. However, it is not strong enough to lift itself or anything else. However, in tele sobaci iv tele? Thus, it can be assumed that the color of the eyes changes depending on the presence or absence of the body. Also, the color of the tongue changes from greenish-blue to red.
(Scaramouche, it seems, often breaks the 4th wall in his second appearance: he constantly looks into the camera and turns to the audience.)
Scaramouche - Ability.
Abilities:
Super Agility: Scaramush is capable of jumping very far and high, moving from one place to another. Furthermore, he was able to single-handedly cut through a whole village and destroy a huge amount of damage in a single day.
Telekinesis: With the help of his singing, Scaramush is able to move objects and skillfully control weapons. The flute greatly increases its capabilities, as it gets the ability to move larger objects. His ability is lost when Jack lets him push him.
Location: Scaramush has excellent Kenjutsu training, which allows him to fight Jack. Also, it carries with it several swords: a heavy sword and a special sound sword, capable of destroying objects with the help of sound, after hitting them in half.
Polyglot: Probably, Scaramouche understands French, since he uses it repeatedly when dating Jack.
Observational analyst: When Scaramouche saw Jack, he noticed that he had changed a lot and even lost his temper. In addition, he learned that he was no longer a samurai.
Scaramouche/Scaramouche
History: The first meeting with Jack: In order for Jack to come to Scaramush himself, he decides to destroy and cut down the entire village. It got its way. When Scaramouche notices Jack, he starts looking for him and laughs at him, and when he notices that he's missing, he decides to brag about it to Aku, but the samurai destroys the phone with the help of a thrown kunai, and then starts hitting the android in the face.
Scaramusha is forced to fight, he simply leaves the samurai and begins to play a flute, with the help of which he builds huge boulders, but Jack quickly destroys it. Scaramush tries to restore his stone sword, but the samurai breaks his leg, and then the hallucination destroys the flute and throwing the plate. After that, Scaramush starts to play, controlling the bed.
Jack quickly reaches the enemy and when he begins to fight with Scaramush in close combat, the robot cooperates with his blows to defeat the samurai. When Jack notices the peculiarity of the sound machine, he hits it, and after a second it explodes, he throws a knife at Scaramusha to deafen it. Samurai beret ego yatagan i khote razrubit android, begging for mercy. But he didn't listen to the robot, he split it with one blow of the blade, not 2 parts of the vertical leg. From such a cut, the body explodes and the head flies to the side.
(Scaramouche survives, but now he's just a talking metal head that can only jump and move.)
Later, the head of Scaramusha, somehow, turned out to be alive and fully functional without a body, which does not mean that all the most important elements of life are not in the body. His eye color changed from white, and his tongue acquired a red tint.
After waking up, he first rejoices at his survival and after meeting with Jack, he remembers the broken phone from the throw and decides that he will get to Aku's castle on his own "in a jump" to report the damage to the demon. However, Aku later saw that Jack was able to return his katana and destroys Scaramouche because he was late with the news.
Scaramouche - Character.
Character: Scaramush is cunning and cunning. When he meets Jack, he only laughs and looks for him, but when Jack tries to defeat him, he shows his false side and begins to fight fiercely. Tem ne menen, even in battle it's not a samurai without mecha. In fact, Scaramush is a psychopath who had to cut out the entire village so that the samurai noticed him.
Even before his death, he was inclined to fire and was not serious.
Scaramouche - Appearance.
Appearance His appearance is similar to X-49, but with turquoise eyes (white in later episodes), not red, a longer neck and a more functional mouth with teeth and a blue-green (later red) tongue.
I don't know why, but Scaramush has a specific style and clothes: boots with a collar, a bow tie with a long ribbon, a coat, a corset and a hat. The robot itself is very similar to a human, so it can be concluded that it is an android.
Scaramouche/Skaramush. - Description of the character
