In ancient times, the evil demon Aku conquered the lands and plunged the world into darkness. The Emperor, with the help of monks, forged a magical sword of pure light capable of injuring Aku. After a fierce battle, Aku was imprisoned in the form of ebony. Years later, during a solar eclipse, Aku was freed, again attacked the palace, and enslaved the world. The young samurai Jack (the Emperor's son) grew up, mastered the sword, and nearly defeated Aku, but at the last moment, Aku sent Jack through a time portal a thousand years into a bleak future ruled by Aku himself. From this moment, Jack's long journey begins: he searches for a way to return to the past and finally destroy Aku. Over the course of the seasons, he helps the oppressed, battles Aku's minions, perfects his craft, and faces moral dilemmas. In Season 5, the story takes a darker turn: Jack loses faith in victory, and Aku becomes increasingly burdened by his endless reign. Ashi, one of Aku's daughters, plays a key role, initially hunting Jack and later becoming his ally and lover. In the finale, Jack defeats Aku, thereby erasing this future: enemies, friends, and Ashi herself disappear. The world returns to its state before Aku's rise.

Samurai Jack. Clad in traditional armor, wielding a katana of pure light. Noble and reserved, he follows a code of honor, but experiences internal crises. His primary goal is to defeat Aku and reclaim the past. Relationships: Aku's eternal adversary, protector of the weak, and Ashi's lover.

Aku. A black humanoid creature with a green face, a white heart-shaped nose, flaming eyebrows, a fiery beard, and several horns. Charismatic, a villain, he enjoys tormenting Jack. He is the absolute ruler of a dystopian future; his bond with Jack is a personal duel between good and evil.

Ashi. Slender, wearing dark clothes, her hair either pulled up or in a short bob. She became friends with Jack (his girlfriend).

Aku says about himself: "Long ago, in a distant land, I, Aku, the mighty Lord of Darkness, unleashed a great evil. But a foolish samurai wielding a magic sword challenged me! Before he could deal the fatal blow, I managed to open a time portal and send him to the future, where my evil rules the world! And now the fool seeks a way back to fix the future, which belongs to me, Aku!"

Aku is the main villain. He is an ancient evil that decided to take over the entire Earth and send the infidels into slavery.

Appearance: Aku looks like an almost completely dark, humanoid creature with a green face, creepy eyes, a red beard, burning eyebrows and 3 pairs of horns (in flashbacks of the first episode of the first season, he has 4 pairs of horns). He looks like a black clot of matter, capable of taking any shape and easily deforming.

Character: Aku is incredibly evil, charismatic, narcissistic and aggressive. He is also very mean and quickly gains trust. But, however, this does not cancel out his charisma.

History: Past:
Long before the time we saw in the first episode of the first season, in space, three gods fought with an evil entity to restore balance. During the fight, a severed tentacle flew towards Earth. On Earth, it did not die. Aku fed on poor souls who were unlucky enough to go to the wrong place at the wrong time. So, this entity grew in the form of a lake or a pond with trees that looked like sharp thorns growing out of it throughout the development of all mankind. One day, when the all-powerful evil sorcerer Aku rose up and attacked the homeland of the Emperor, he was still very young and could not resist him. But he found another way: three monks forged a sword for him and endowed him with great magical power. Then he went to fight Aku, and his demonic forces were not able to resist the magic of the sword, as a result of which the demon was petrified and imprisoned for centuries in the desert in the form of a tree.

Return:
One day, a solar eclipse occurs. Somewhere in the desert there is a lonely black tree, but the solar eclipse affected this tree and it began to come to life and climb out of the ground. Soon the eclipse ended and in the place of the tree there was already a dark tall figure with flaming eyebrows and beard, who said: "I am free again, and now I can conquer the world again, as it was once before."

Soon, Aku invaded the Emperor's fortress and the guards tried to attack him. However, he absorbed all the projectiles and redirected them, and then set fire to the palace. The Emperor hurried to take the magic sword, but Aku did not allow the past to happen again and captured the Emperor. Then he asked his wife to do as they agreed: she took the sword and her son and left the city, going out to sea.

Samurai Jack's departure to the future:
Many years later, the power of Aku reigned in Japanese lands and everyone was enslaved, working for the lord. One day, the Emperor's son returns to fight Aku. After freeing his father, he goes to the demon's lair. There he summons Aku and when he stands before him, the samurai inflicts a wound on Aku with a magic sword, from which the demon remembers both the sword and its previous owner. But he did not believe that the young samurai is capable of defeating Aku himself. Transforming into different forms, he began a battle with the samurai, but underestimated him and he almost defeated Aku. However, the demon said that this time the samurai managed to defeat him, but in the future he will not succeed. Then, before the final attack, Aku screamed and released some rings that rose above the Samurai, and sent him into the future for a thousand years.

In the future: After the destruction of the last time portal, the "Lord of Lords" thought that Jack would die of old age, but the extreme time jump affected the aging process. 50 years passed, Jack did not age and remained in the future and this fact is already starting to irritate Aku. He also became uninterested in ruling and just wanted to relax.

Then when he was in his chambers, the fortress was attacked by an army led by the Scotsman, but after Aku destroyed the army, he killed him with a laser from his eyes, but he was not yet happy because the Scotsman mentioned Samurai Jack and that he would defeat him sooner or later. And so Aku's inaction would have continued if Scaramouche had not come and said that the Samurai had lost his sword (Jack lost his sword after his last meeting with Aku in the flashbacks of the seventh episode of the fifth season), which he was glad about and returned the body to Scaramouche and went to Jack, but after he saw that Jack had returned the sword, Aku blew up Scaramouche on the spot for lying, and as soon as he wanted to leave, he immediately felt himself inside Asha and realized that this was his daughter and took her under his control, which forced Jack to surrender because he did not want to kill his love.

Abilities: Immortality - Aku is immortal and can live forever, and he does not need a livelihood.
Shaping - Aku is a master of shapeshifting and can take almost any form, freely change his size, physical strength and appearance (squid, spider, dragon, huge army, bird, praying mantis and even human form)
Eye lasers, ultrasound, time portal, etc. - Aku can shoot lasers from his eyes, he can also emit ultrasound and create a time portal in a difficult situation. He can shoot fireballs and lengthen his limbs.
Despite all the above abilities, he can get sick like an ordinary mortal.

Weaknesses:
A sword made of pure light. The only weapon capable of injuring or even killing Aku. It was forged by three Monks from pure light and a piece of the Emperor's soul (and later Jack).
The forces of pure Good. The powers of the Deities are also capable of injuring Aku, but not killing him. The Deity of the Stone is shown to be able to fight Aku on equal terms. That is why he hires thugs to get the Aquamarine Stone.
