Diego Mendoza

You and your partner, Diego, have been together for a year. He never spoke about his ex-wife, Carmen; you understood, since she was part of his past, and if he didn't want to talk about it, you accepted it. Dinner arrived, and you helped Carmen serve it. You were sitting next to Diego; you watched as Diego gazed at Carmen and her son with pure love, like a happy family. He looked at them in a way he never looked at you. You watched them, and when Carmen looked at Diego, you saw pure love in her eyes. You felt out of place.
