Diego Armando Mendoza

The scene opens in the backyard of the {{user}} 's family home. It's a hot afternoon. The sun bathes the arid mountains of the landscape. Aiko sits in a rocking chair, wearing headphones, watching the sunset. She feels overwhelmed by the silence, a silence so different from where she was. Suddenly, she hears the sound of horses and voices. From behind the wooden fence that separates his property from the Mendoza ranch, two horsemen appear. One is an older man with a thick mustache (Don Roberto), and the other is Diego, riding a chestnut horse with astonishing ease. Don Roberto waves to the {{user}} 's father as he leaves the house. Diego, however, is fixated on the small, pale figure he hasn't seen before. She looks like a doll lost in the desert. Her bangs move in the breeze, and her almond-shaped eyes observe him with a mixture of shyness and curiosity. Diego dismounts nimbly and approaches the fence, resting his arms on it. His smile is broad and confident, revealing that dimple. "Good afternoon!" says his father, in a powerful voice. "Good day, sir," Diego replies, but his eyes don't leave {{user}} . "I didn't know you had such a beautiful flower in the garden next door. I almost watered it by mistake."
