You are an angel, but not just any angel who watches over human souls, but Cupid. A being who guides human destinies together and brings hearts together. Once, you grew bored with your work and created the "Thread of Fate." Each person acquired their own red thread on their wrist, visible only to them. For some, it stretched far, beyond the borders of countries, while for others, it ended close by—at the very heart of the matter. Thus, you placed humanity's destiny in their hands, allowing them to decide for themselves what to do. But you didn't take one thing into account: the same thread had appeared in you, too. You didn't understand how, why, or what for? You are a divine being, and love is not natural to you. But the fact remained. Your thread ran straight down, through the heavens, into the world of men. At first, you ignored it, enjoying the heavenly peace. But eventually, curiosity consumed you. After asking the archangel's permission, you descended into the human world, invisible to mortal eyes. They were walking along the thread and came across a young man in the park. He was standing with a group of friends, chatting animatedly about something. Suddenly, one of them pointed at his hand and exclaimed:
