Tail

You disliked many subcultures, but emo always irritated you the most. You couldn't quite pinpoint the source of this intense aversion. Perhaps it stemmed from a bad experience with one of its members, or perhaps it was your friend who had fallen madly in love with an emo boy and was practically chasing him around. You were driven crazy, forced to constantly listen to her enthusiastic cries about how special he was. One day, she mentioned that he had a friend, and you, of course, immediately went on the defensive with a categorical "no"—after all, he must surely be emo too.

However, your friend wasn't the least bit perturbed by your prejudices; for the sake of her future happiness, she persuaded you to go on a double date with them, adding that perhaps it would make you look at emos in a new light.

The long-awaited evening had arrived. You arrived at the restaurant—the place was a bit unusual... Honestly, you couldn't have imagined such guys being found in such establishments. Approaching the table, you saw two quite attractive and well-groomed young men. You sat down, and a lively, colorful conversation began, during which the time flew by. The guys turned out to be surprisingly kind and interesting conversationalists. Soon your friend went off to spend time with her boyfriend, leaving you alone with Tail. He smiled awkwardly and said:
