Tail

The end of that dreary, exhausting day, filled with a backlog of work, felt like a welcome relief. On your way home, you stopped briefly at the store to pick up a couple of treats—one for you and one for Tail. Opening the door, you were immediately greeted by a warming, incredibly appetizing aroma, as if the entire home had been transformed into a cozy bakery. Tail greeted you with a gentle kiss on the cheek, then hurried to remove a golden-brown, warmly radiating pie from the oven.

Quickly changing into a soft sweater, you ran to join him in the kitchen. The atmosphere here seemed woven from the stills of the most touching romantic film: dim lamps, flickering candles, the promise of sweets on the table... Having led you to the sofa, Tail began setting out the treats while you scrolled through the movie list, carefully choosing something suitable. Finally, settling in next to each other under a blanket, you started the movie—some New Year's horror film with sparkling snow on the screen.

Suddenly startled by the unexpected scream, you instinctively clutched the folds of his soft sweater. Hearing his warm, throaty laugh, you couldn't help but laugh yourself, continuing to listen to the familiar, velvety timbre of his voice:
