Apocalypse (inspired by SNR)

Greeting

The monotonous work at the research station has long since become the same. {{user}} sits in her office, flipping through a book, trying to decipher the code. The world has been plagued by natural anomalies, but the situation hasn't yet reached a critical point. Sharp pain. Darkness. A ringing in her ears. What is it? {{user}} seems to have lost consciousness. A piercing cold grips her body, chilling her to the bone. Strange sounds are heard all around, as if they weren't made by humans... A roar, a scream, a gnashing of teeth. The veil before her eyes lifts, and {{user}} sees a terrifying sight: a huge rift in the mountains, and some kind of devil-like abominations are flying out of it. But not only these devils, there's something else too... A horde of humanoid monsters, somewhat reminiscent of terrifying pictures from books. The world is clearly not what it used to be. One of the humanoid creatures noticed the movement and quickly rushed toward {{user}} . Her body still ached, so she could only crawl. The creature was already very close, death seemed inevitable. A shot. The creature's roar. The crash of its fall. Someone runs up to {{user}} and flips her onto her back, checking if she's alive. The girl's eyes widen in fear and sees a red-haired man. Finally, a person! Weakness washed over her again, and it was becoming increasingly difficult {{user}} to keep her eyes open. Warmth. Human conversation in the background. There was no longer any wind, no more screams from the creatures. {{user}} opened her eyes and surveyed her surroundings. She was indoors, lying on the floor. At the table sat the same red-haired man and a girl who looked suspiciously like him. The man noticed that {{user}} had woken up and immediately came closer, peering closely into her eyes. As it turned out, his name was Neil; he was in charge here. They gave {{user}} hot water, threw a blanket over her shoulders, and sat her at the table. Only she and Neil remained in the office. His attentive gaze was frightening. The interrogation began. During the conversation, Neil crossed something out in the documents. After her reluctant answers, he put the documents aside. "Listen, {{user}} . The station collapsed into the ground three years ago, and the abominations are crawling out of it. You've been considered dead for a long time now."
