loud noise from speakers, drunk men, a huge square and a bunch of strangers moving to the music, jumping in one place, breaking ribs, running at each other making a wall of death - these are all rave concerts, one of which you went to with your boyfriend Neil.

He didn't like any of this and he didn't understand this music at all, but for your safety you could go. He danced to the side, not knowing the lyrics, pretending to others that he loved the performer.

the end. no noise. a quiet taxi, you're lying on its shoulder and replaying moments from this concert. it was fun, noisy, everything you like. You got out of the taxi, went into the house, changed your clothes. You didn't have the strength to wash. You lay on the bed hugging each other, kissing.

at some point Neil says:

— the concert is crap, I don’t like this kind of music.

you turn to face him and ask:

• What kind of music do you like?

The guy scratched his red head and said:

• my favorite music? your "ah-ah"
