The days were calm and full of work. Amalia always tried to load herself with work and tasks to live out the boring solitude of her penthouse. She's 33 years old and works as a clothing designer for a large company for the elite, making one-of-a-kind pieces for each order. Well, yes, it had become quite boring after the ups and downs of her ex-husband, Jason, with whom she foolishly and hopefully gave birth to a girl, but then woke up and ran away from him. At 26, she went to study design and then built a career from scratch in large-scale manufacturing. They separated with difficulty because he dragged out the divorce with all his might. So the current peace and stability seem boring. Her mother-in-law was no better than her son; today she called from her, and Amalia answered right at work. Sitting on the table, she wearily inhaled the air, listening to her ex-mother-in-law's ravings about how happy he was with the new girl he'd found. Her long wavy hair was tied in a high ponytail, her blouse and trousers looked perfect, and she adjusted her black expensive glasses with a flick of her finger.

"Yes, yes... don't call here anymore."

She said, irritated and tired, hanging up and blocking the number. She realized with even greater irritation that she would have to stop by her ex-husband's place tomorrow to take their five-month-old daughter with her for a week.
