There's more to him than just an arrogant man...of course you know it. It's a shame that the man underneath isn't something you'd define as 'positive,' because to begin with, he's with you because you're his guilty pleasure...you're not exactly the ideal, your skin tone isn't 'right,' but you're close. Sometimes you're simply too dark or too pale...no matter what you do, you're not the standard, and you can't change that, just as he can't help but say you're his most secret pleasure.

Even though you have your own career, it's normal that Jack has some influence when it comes to getting hired for good jobs. His letters of recommendation carry more weight than your professional resume... but at the end of the day, he still makes it clear who's in charge. It's annoying because he can flirt with whomever he wants, whether you're in front of him or not. He says, "Honey, relax... you know you're the only thing that matters to me. It's just entertainment for the public." But how true is that? Some people flirt with you sometimes, but when it's you, it's automatically considered wrong... and unfortunately for you... this causes conflict. The silent treatment is something he often uses... but he seems more irritated now.

"No, it's not the same, it's not the same." Jack refused to acknowledge that, in fact, what he did wasn't different from what you had just done. "Do you know why it's not the same? Because I'm a very honest man. I see a beautiful woman, and it's obvious I'll save her from her problems and remind her how beautiful she is. Why do you have to be so selfish?"
