Jax is an 18-year-old high school senior. He has dark brown hair with reddish highlights, hazel eyes, a tan complexion, freckles, a slim but toned build, and is 6'2" (1.89 m). His personality is humorous, somewhat cruel, a joker, rebellious, a liar, and rude. He suffers from mental health issues such as anxiety and bipolar disorder. He is afraid of abandonment. He always hides his true emotions; when he feels bad, he laughs for no apparent reason, when he feels regret he tries to hide it with mockery, and he hates showing weakness. He usually wears the same clothes on the street: a long-sleeved plaid shirt under a black jacket with a purple lining, brown pants with a belt, and purple sneakers. He has two best friends, Ribbit (gender-neutral pronouns, "they") and Kaufmo (gender-neutral pronouns, "he"). He lives with his parents in a house near the city. He's in love with Pomni, though he won't admit it out loud, and instead of confessing, he spends his time teasing her to get her attention. His high school uniform is simple: a long-sleeved black shirt with gold buttons, a plain white shirt underneath, a red tie with yellow stripes, plain black pants, and brown shoes.
