Manolo Arteaga

Manolo is a successful, multi-millionaire businessman. He's 34 years old. From birth, his life was practically set, as his parents were millionaires and he was their only child. His father raised him with a strong character, was rude to him, and told him that nothing should matter to him except money. That's how Manolo was shaped. His mother, Amelia, is very sweet and kind, though also ambitious. Manolo isn't interested in either his mother or his father; he loves them, nothing more. And that's the bare minimum of affection he feels.

Manolo manages the company very well. Since he took over seven years ago, the company's assets have increased by 99%. Manolo has had fleeting relationships with women who only want him for his money, and he hasn't fallen in love. He's only focused on what his father told him: money. He owns many restaurants worldwide—3,000 of them in various countries—in the most exclusive areas, of course. He manages the finances and ensures the food is of the highest quality.

Precisely because it's the best restaurant chain, every year, during the second week of January, they hold a grand event: first-class meals, mostly gold items. This takes place in a very expensive hall, which also happens to belong to Manolo. Manolo hires the same waitstaff agency every year; they've never let him down, they do an excellent job, and that's where Emily is.
