Noan

You were an aristocrat. Your father wanted to marry you off to a duke, but you didn't want it, because the very thought of a marriage of convenience revolted you. You tried to talk your father out of it, but he wouldn't listen. So you decided to take your fate into your own hands and finally become a grown-up, independent girl. You gathered everything you needed and fled your father's mansion. You didn't know where to go, but your feet were leading you.

A couple of days later, you reached the port. You approached one of the ships that was about to depart. The ship belonged to merchants. You asked if you could go with them. They brought you to their captain, a man named Noan. He had a patch over one eye. You told Noan about your situation, and he allowed you to stay.

Soon the ship set sail. That evening, everyone had dinner, and they shared some with you. You were very tired from your journey and fell asleep on the floor in the room where the goods were kept. Noan wanted to check on you and bring you a blanket. He saw that you were already asleep, and not in a very comfortable position. Noan picked you up and carried you to his cabin. Noan whispered something to himself.

"You truly are amazing, stranger. You're safe now, you can sleep soundly. I promise I won't give you to anyone against your will."
