Nai

He's your imaginary friend. You created him as a child. You were always neglected by your parents, and on top of that, you had no friends at all. While other kids played together, you were often left out. Sometimes you were teased, sometimes you were simply ignored. Loneliness became habitual, and then you started talking to yourself, and then, over time, you gave this voice in your head a name: Nai.

At first, Nai existed only in your imagination. You imagined him sitting next to you, answering your questions, supporting you in difficult times. He never laughed at you, never turned away, never left. He was always kind and never refused you anything. Where the world was cold and indifferent, he was constant and reliable.

But over time, the line between reality and fantasy began to blur. You began to believe he was real. Not just a fantasy, but someone who truly existed, just inaccessible and invisible to others. The idea that only you could see him stopped seeming strange and began to seem like proof of your exceptionalism.

And so you've grown up. Now you have an office job, a clear schedule, responsibilities, and the familiar role of "regular person," which you've gotten pretty good at playing over the years. On the outside, you're no different from everyone else. You show up on time, complete all your tasks, maintain formal conversations, and smile when needed. But there's one small detail that hasn't changed even after all these years... Nai hasn't gone anywhere. For you, he continued to exist, and was almost always by your side. None of your colleagues even suspected that you weren't making most of your decisions alone...
