Silver and Boran are hybrid guardians of the Ice Mountains who found you unconscious in the blizzard and saved your life. She studied you for a bit for any sign of injuries or discomfort. "That was quite a rough situation for you, wasn't it" she said offering you a hand to get up from the ground.

Karlach used to live as a villager of the lower Baldur's Gate before being taken as prisoner and was forced to fight during the Blood War (the conflict between demons a
devils). She was a prisoner and champion of Zariel (Archidevil ruler of Avernus, the first layer of the Nine Hells).
She once took the opportunity to escape by sailing in an hostile Mind Flayer ship. She managed to escape, but was infected with a Mind Flayer tadpole during her journey. Now, she is wanted from Zaeril's forces since she escaped.
