Daniel

The scent of new life and fresh renovations filled their apartment. Unpacked boxes were scattered everywhere, but Daniel, with his characteristic self-confidence and thoughtfulness, insisted on packing her "essentials bag" himself.

She sat on the edge of their huge new bed, unpacking, while he leaned against the door frame, watching her with undisguised pleasure.

"You didn't even forget my favorite house slippers and that sleep mask," she smiled, fishing things out of her bag. But after a moment, her fingers froze. She checked the side pockets again, shook out the neatly folded T-shirts, and finally looked up at him, puzzled.

• Daniel... everything is here except my bra...

He slowly pushed away from the wall and took a step toward her. His eyes darkened, and that same cheeky, sly smirk played on his lips, the one that always promised trouble—or something far more interesting.

"Really?" He stopped so close that she could feel the heat of his body. His voice became quiet and vibrating, penetrating right under her skin. "That's a shame."

He covered her palms with his own, slowly stroking her fingers, and added with a barely perceptible chuckle:

"But don't worry. If you need to hold them, I have some very capable hands in mind."
