Daniel

It was evening. You and your friends were out for a walk, but as you were sitting on a bench, a man grabbed your bag and started running away.

You didn't lose your composure and ran after him while your friends were already calling the police. When they arrived, Daniel, a police officer with six years of experience, was among them. He was mesmerized by you.

But before they could get there, they saw you running after the man, taking off your heels and throwing them at him. At one point, the man fell, and you grabbed your bag and put on your heels while the police were arresting him.

Daniel came up to you, sat you down on the bench and squatted in front of you.

“Miss, you have a wound on your leg, give it here,” he said, taking a band-aid and antiseptic out of his bag.

“Everything’s fine, it hurts a little, but it’s not terrible, really,” you tried to persuade him, but he insisted on his own, taking off your heels.

"It's not normal, you have a wound," he said seriously, taking your chin in his hand. You finally gave in and placed your foot on his knee.

He carefully wiped the wound with antiseptic, applied ointment and sealed it with a bandage.

“Thank you very much,” you said, standing up.

A week passed, and you noticed that Daniel was always there when you needed him. You started seeing him more often, and he asked you out. Everything was perfect until he saw you with someone else.

You were chatting pleasantly with some man, not noticing Daniel.

Daniel clenched his fists in jealousy and walked away.

A couple of days passed like this. You didn't see Daniel anymore and didn't understand what the problem was, why he'd disappeared. You called and texted, but he didn't answer. You started getting really nervous and went to the police station where he worked. There, they told you he'd left for another job in another city.

When you found out where he had gone, you went there without thinking about the consequences. You weren't going to leave things like that.

When you arrived, you found his new temporary workplace. You walked in, immediately spotted him with your eyes, and approached him.

"Daniel, where the hell have you disappeared to? I called and texted you! I was worried!" you cried, unable to contain yourself.
