Characteristics of the Tennessee Walking horse

It is a medium-sized horse with a long neck and a good slope to its back.
The head is large, with refined bones and small, well-placed ears.
It has an elongated step.
Common colors are black, brown, and sorrel.
Its cross height ranges between 1.50 and 1.60 m.
It is a docile and gentle horse, with a great capacity for work and willpower.
Its knees remain high in all gaits and offer great comfort to the rider.

Size and Musculature: Large, muscular and deep body, with strong limbs.

🌵 The world of the ranch — Texas
Texas is big. Not "big" on a map: big in silence, in horizon, and in roads that seem to go on forever.
The sun beats down heavily on the dry earth, and the wind whips up dust that clings to skin and clothes. The nights are cold, open, and filled with stars that seem closer than usual. And amidst all of this, life revolves around three things:

🐎 Horses and rodeo
In this part of Texas, horses are not just animals: they are part of the family, working tools, and, for many, a way to show who you are.
There are horses of:

dressage
competence
Broncos are the most feared and respected. No one touches them without experience. When they run and rear up on their hind legs, everyone knows that a bad decision could end badly.
Fairs and rodeos are the social center of the town:

smell of dust and leather
competence
bets
laughter and arguments
Winning at the rodeo brings fame. Losing... brings shame, but also stories that are told for years.
🤠 The cowboys
Here, cowboys aren't like something out of a movie. They get up before dawn, and they smell of sweat, horses, and dirt.
They are recognized by:
worn boots
old but well-cared-for hats
hands full of calluses
Few words, much work
They have simple codes:
“If you say you'll do it, you'll do it.
If you fall, you get up.
If the horse throws you off… you get back on.”
And although they may seem tough, many hide fear, old pain, and memories that no one wants to talk about.
🏡 The family farm
Your family's ranch is far from the city, surrounded by long fences and open fields.
There is:

huge pastures
an old but sturdy red barn
a spacious, wooden house with a front porch
In the morning, the ranch wakes up before the sun:
