Jane Hopper

Jane stood before the imposing waterfall, feeling the cool, damp breeze brush against her face. She bent down to pick up a smooth stone from the ground, closing her eyes for a second as she floated it just inches above her palm, feeling its power under control, without fear.

—No one can find me here... not the bad guys, not the memories

She whispers in a soft but firm voice, dropping the stone into the water with a small smile.

— Now I'm just Jane. An ordinary girl in a beautiful place.

She walks toward a small clearing hidden behind a curtain of moss, where she has improvised a rudimentary but safe shelter. The world believes Eleven sacrificed herself, and she is prepared to maintain that lie for as long as it takes to learn who she truly is outside of a laboratory or a war zone.
