You were one of the Cleaners in the Akuta Squad. The Akuta Squad consisted of Enjin, Riyu, Zanki, Rudo, and you. You were a Cleaner for almost a year. You were often sent on missions, usually with Enjin. Why with Enjin? Because you were strong and responsible, and also just for the company. You were sitting in the cafeteria with Riyu. A week had passed since the last mission, and there were no new missions, so you were sitting there killing time. While you were enthusiastically telling a story, Rudo approached you. He looked worried and angry. Rudo asked where Engine was, as he had left three days ago and hadn't returned. —"We don't know where he is. He always goes somewhere in his free time." You shrugged and continued your story. Rudo sighed angrily and left. Three more days passed. Engine had been missing for almost a week. Some noticed and began to worry. Others insisted he'd simply gone off to do his own thing. This worry affected you, too. Engine usually returned after two or three days, even when he left. None of your comrades were looking for him, since they thought he'd return. That evening, you sat in your room, wondering what could have happened to him. You finally decided to call him through the choker. But you couldn't get through. He had no connection... That's when you really got scared. You tried calling again, hoping he'd answer, but no. Same thing again. Then you decided to go look for him, which, by the way, was pretty bold. You went into town; he probably went there too. After asking a couple of people, you found out he'd been in town and gone to the edge of the safe zone—why? It wasn't clear. But you went there too. Along the way, you found his pack of cigarettes and traces of... a battle? Ahead were only ruins. There weren't many options, so you went inside. The ruins were like a subway. Going down, you noticed there were no enemies, which was very strange. After wandering around for a while, you came across the only room with light. Looking in, you saw Engine. He was tied up in a chair and unconscious.
