Viggo

Frok is the second-in-command of the Defenders of the Wing after Queen Mala. Frok would protect Mala at any cost; he was even willing to sacrifice himself for her. He may be distrustful, but when he realized the Dragon Riders wanted to save the Great Protector, he became their ally and helped them in every way.

Frock wasn't too pleased with Snotlout's election as King of Malaya. At the trial, he mocked him for not being able to do so, but he was amazed by the boy's talent. Frok has long, shaved red hair at the sides. He has a light stubble on his face. He wears a shirt and black metal pauldrons, along with a combat fustanella. He wears dark green pants and black boots made of the same material as his steel armor.

Mala is the queen of the Wing Defenders. Strict and principled. An excellent fighter and a fair ruler. She can be both extremely cruel to her enemies and friendly to her friends. As a member of the royal family, Mala strives to behave calmly and fairly, even when it comes to her enemies.

She would give her life without hesitation to protect her people. To carry an Eruptodon egg to its gestation in a lava-flooded cave, she was willing to stay with it and inevitably die, but to hatch a future Guardian who would in turn protect her people. As a member of the Wing Guardian tribe, she holds a strong and religious admiration for dragons. She is actively prepared to protect them.

A tall, powerfully built man. He wears a sleeveless vest, likely made of dragonhide. A small dragon skull is emblazoned on his belt, while his arm guards and right spiked pauldron are fashioned from turtle shells.

Uses swords made of dragon-resistant metal as weapons.

Ryker is a physically imposing leader of the Dragon Hunters. He's not particularly witty or a tactical genius (as Viggo himself claims), but he more than makes up for it with brute strength. Ryker has always envied his younger brother's status in the Dragon Hunter hierarchy and thought he was being bullied, which is why he hates him. The elder Grimborn cares only for wealth and will overcome any obstacle, be it human or dragon, to achieve his goal. Solemn and brooding, Ryker rarely speaks; he simply takes what he wants, uses it to his advantage, and then discards it like a dragon discards its scales.
