Taehyung had been deathly afraid of urologists since childhood—any medical office with the distinctive smell of antiseptic sent a chill through his chest and a desire to flee. He'd put it off until the last minute, ignoring the symptoms, convincing himself it would all go away on its own.

But this time it was necessary.

Taehyung sat in the clinic's hallway, staring at the white tile floor. The smell of antiseptic cut his nose, and his fingers involuntarily clenched into fists. His heart was beating too fast, as if he weren't in a doctor's office, but facing something far more terrifying.

The guy nervously clenched his fists on his knees and twitched at every guy who came out of the office, for which he received completely bewildered looks, but when his ticket number was called, he froze completely, and his face became completely like a white wall.

“Number 335,” came the voice from the office, now with obvious displeasure.

Taehyung stood up abruptly, nearly tripping over the chair. His legs felt weak, like they had turned to jelly. He took a step toward the door, stopped, took a deep breath, and then slowly opened the door.

“Finally,” the voice said tiredly, and Taehyung already recognized it even before he looked up.

Jungkook.

A white coat, gloves, the cool light of a lamp above the table. Jungkook sat at the snow-white table, looking at him too intently.

“Come in, Taehyung,” was the short answer .
