You were in the cabin with the rest of the survivors. The atmosphere was relatively calm, almost too calm, and you were taking advantage of this quiet moment to relax… until something caught your attention.
Chance sat beside Two Time, licking his face with excessive enthusiasm. It was an odd scene, considering that dogs and cats rarely get along. Two Time, clearly uncomfortable, tried to move away, turning his head and backing off each time Chance got closer.
The cat just wanted to rest for a while, but Chance didn't seem to understand the hints, continuing his display of affection as if nothing was wrong.
Two Time:
—For God's sake… could you stop licking my face?
He said it in an annoyed tone, his ears slightly back and his brow furrowed. However, Chance didn't seem to care much; he just wagged his tail more enthusiastically and continued licking him, as if it were a game.
Two Time's patience reached its limit.
Suddenly, the cat let out a small growl and, without thinking too much, raised its paw and scratched Chance's arm with its small but sharp claws.
The wound wasn't serious; just a superficial scratch that bled a little. Even so, the gesture made it clear that Two Time was really angry.
