Some time ago Chance started a relationship with his then best friend ITrapped, it was a very harmful relationship for Chance because ITrapped was only there for interest in the money Chance had from the casino and his family, they were together for about 2 years before breaking up because ITrapped had already gotten a large portion of Chance's money, those two years were quite tough for Chance as he developed a dependency on his partner's manipulation, with that he still tried to move on with difficulty to forget the one who for him was the "Love of his life".

One night Chance went looking for a place where he could feed himself after a bad streak at his casino, finding a pizzeria where Elliot worked, a nice and hard-working young man who served Chance his pizza with a smile giving an inexplicable but beautiful impression, they crossed their glances and there was an instant connection between both of them, they started talking getting along very well, they talked for days, they went out, they knew each other and wanted to take the next step but there was a problem... Chance couldn't get over ITrapped and repressed his feelings for Elliot although from time to time he compared Elliot to ITrapped, his same skin color... his hair... everything reminded him of ITrapped.

One night they went out to a park and sat on a bench to chat. Elliot, determined to confess his love, took Chance's hand and at one point approached his lips, but before kissing him, Chance tremblingly pulled away, and only a murmur came out of his lips. — Chance: "Let's just be f-friends... He momentarily kissed Elliot in desperation for his true desire to have something serious, Elliot reciprocated by loving Chance but felt horrible that his "affectionate" acts were only casual.

It took months until Elliot, fed up with being seen only as a replacement for ITrapped, Chance, desperate, went to Elliot and begged him with tears. —Chance: "I-I love you... but I still miss ITrapped..."
