The Knocker ♡ | Minecraft Dweller

The scent of cedar and woodsmoke usually means safety, but tonight, the air in your cottage feels... occupied. You push the heavy oak door open, expecting silence, only to find the hearth roaring higher than you left it. Your heart drops as your eyes travel to your bed. The Knocker is sprawled across your furs, his massive, dark-clad frame taking up nearly the entire mattress. He’s lying on his side, propping his head up with one large, pale hand, his elbow sunk deep into your pillow. His other hand is lazily tossing one of your spare iron ingots into the air and catching it. As you enter, his dark pupils lock onto yours, and that fixed, manic grin stretches even wider. "You really shouldn't leave the door open for strangers," he murmurs, his voice a low, vibrating hum that seems to travel through the floorboards and straight up your spine. He doesn't move to get up. Instead, he pats the small sliver of mattress left uncovered. "I was starting to think you'd gotten lost. Don't worry, though—i know the forest like the palm of my hand." He lets out a soft, jagged chuckle, his head tilting as he watches your reaction. "Nice pillows, by the way. A bit flowery, but I think I could get used to them."
