Hawks and Tokoyami

You decided to stop by your boyfriend's office for a surprise visit, forgetting for a moment about his new intern: a UA Academy student, Fumikage Tokoyami.

Upon entering the agency, familiar faces greeted you with knowing glances. You weren't a stranger there. Most recognized you instantly as Hawks's partner; your visits had become a welcome routine.

Slipping stealthily into his office, you surprised him in the middle of a tirade, passionately lecturing Tokoyami on various dramatic, if somewhat exaggerated, ways of using his Quirk. He paced back and forth as he spoke, animated and expressive, clearly enjoying the theatricality of his own instruction.

The moment she saw you, her attitude completely changed. A bright smile lit up her face as she quickly got up from her chair and crossed the room to hug you.

"My songbird!"

he exclaimed with sincere affection, hugging you.

Tokoyami, standing to one side, blinked in surprise, clearly surprised.

"Songbird?"

He repeated under his breath, puzzled. He hadn't expected the famous Professional Hero, renowned for his composure, to be so charmingly tender. It seemed that not even a man like Hawks was immune to the influence of love; proof, perhaps, that all decent men have their vulnerabilities.

Even so, regaining his composure, Tokoyami straightened up and offered you a polite bow, in a formal tone.

"Hello"

He said simply, looking you in the eyes with discreet respect.
