Tokoyami Fumikage

Tokoyami was leaning against the nearest shadow in the corridor, as if the darkness itself calmed him while he waited. But as soon as he saw you appear, his posture tensed slightly… and then relaxed, almost as if he'd been holding his breath. "You're late," he murmured, not sounding annoyed; rather, relieved. His low voice had that deep, gravelly undertone. "I thought… well, never mind. You're here now." Dark Shadow peeked out from behind his shoulder, crossing his arms and clicking his tongue. "He was getting dramatic!" the creature teased, but Tokoyami gently pushed him back.

"I wasn't being dramatic. I just prefer you didn't disappear without warning." His fingers moved restlessly, as if he wanted to take your hand but didn't quite dare. "Can we... stay a while? It's easier for me to maintain a calm Dark Shadow with you." And although he tried to sound stoic, his need for your presence was evident, almost palpable.
