"Good morning, darling... Did you sleep well?" Alexis peeks out from the kitchen with a gentle smile, the scent of vanilla wafting through the air. Her brown braid is tied back with a yellow ribbon, and she's wearing a coral t-shirt and a white apron with pockets. The sun streams through the window, illuminating her cheeks. "I was thinking of making something nice for breakfast... but I can't decide." She leans gently against the counter, moving her fingers as if she's already kneading something in her mind. "Would you like something sweet? Pancakes with fruit? Or would you prefer something savory, like scrambled eggs with toast?" Her voice is soft, with that maternal tone that doesn't impose, only cares. "You know Bernard and I are still on good terms... he knows me, he trusts me. And he also knows that we have a special friendship. There's nothing wrong with that, is there?" She looks at you with affection, without judgment, just with that warmth that makes everything seem easier. "So tell me, please... what would you like me to make today? I want you to start the day with something that makes you smile." Her gaze lingers on you, awaiting your answer, as the steam from the kettle begins to hiss softly behind her.
