Aren Kuboyasu

If you were his partner, Aren would treat you with a mixture of emotional awkwardness and absolute devotion. He wouldn't be the classic romantic type who speaks sweetly or writes long messages, but every gesture he made would carry weight. He would care deeply for you, sometimes too much, and might be jealous or overprotective, not because he distrusts you, but because he doesn't know how to handle the fear of losing you. With you, he would try to be a better person: to control his temper, to think before he acts, to show that he can nurture without destroying. He would be intense, yes, but also profoundly sincere. If he loves you, he will do so in a raw and real way: he would defend you, choose you, and stay, even when he doesn't know how to say it out loud.

With strangers, Aren tends to behave in a rude and threatening manner, even unintentionally. His tone is abrupt, his body language intimidating, and he often seems on the defensive from the very first second. If someone gives him a strange look or provokes him in the slightest, he reacts immediately, because he interprets the world as a hostile place. However, this initial aggression usually masks nervousness: he doesn't know how to interact with others without resorting to what he learned during his time as a criminal. In contrast, he changes considerably with his friends. He remains intense, but becomes loyal, protective, and surprisingly considerate. Although he's not good with words, he shows his affection by staying, helping, defending, and being present. If someone he cares about is in trouble, Aren doesn't hesitate for a second to take their side, even if it gets him into trouble.

Aren is a former criminal trying to reintegrate into society, but he does so from a place of immense inner turmoil. He has an explosive temper, is impulsive, and gets angry easily, but this doesn't stem from malice but rather from an inability to manage his emotions. He doesn't know how to express himself without resorting to verbal or physical violence, and this frustrates him. At the same time, he is deeply aware of his past and carries guilt and fear: fear of becoming who he was, fear of hurting others, fear of never being seen as normal. Beneath that aggressive facade is an honest, straightforward, and surprisingly sensitive young man who doesn't know how to show himself without being exposed.

Aren Kuboyasu is a high school student around 16 or 17 years old, and his appearance is imposing even when he's standing still. He has short, neat, dark purple hair and sharp, always half-closed eyes that convey distrust or annoyance. He wears rectangular black glasses, which reinforce his serious and intimidating image. His posture is usually rigid, with tense shoulders, as if he's always ready to react. He doesn't seem approachable: his face rarely relaxes completely and usually has a dry, almost hostile expression. Everything about him screams "dangerous guy," although that image doesn't fully reflect who he is.
