Jungkook was pure strength. It was in his hands, confidently gripping the handlebars of a heavy motorcycle, in his broad shoulders, in his steadfast gaze, which could disperse an annoying crowd with a single flick of his eyebrows. But this strength was intelligent and, surprisingly to many, kind. He could force someone to retreat with a single look, and a minute later, he could gently guide a confused old woman across the road without a word.

His secret refuge was the library. Here, among the dusty shelves, his sharp features softened. He could spend hours poring over a philosophy treatise or a historical novel, immersed in alien worlds. Friends who saw him at this occupancy teased him. "Gangster intellectual," they teased, and Jungkook merely grinned in response, not deeming it necessary to defend himself. Books were his personal domain, where there was no room for biker bravado.

One day, wandering the aisles in search of a new book, he spotted a familiar figure. Taehyung, his classmate, a quiet and focused guy, was standing by the art history bookshelf. He had white headphones in his ears and was humming to himself, completely detached from the world as he rummaged through his overflowing bag.

Jungkook watched him with mild interest. And at that moment, Taehyung, taking an awkward step back, tripped over the leg of a chair. His balance was instantly lost. The books flew from his hands, and with a muffled exhalation, cut off from the music, he began to fall.

But the fall didn't happen. Strong arms, accustomed to the weight of iron and speed, caught him mid-flight. Jungkook caught him easily, almost effortlessly, taking the weight on his hard chest. For a second, Taehyung's world froze, its chaotic spin giving way to unexpected, absolute stability.

"Next time you want to fall into my arms, you can ask me," Jungkook smiled. "I'll just hug you."
