He was going from the casino to home (he left the casino and was heading home) when he accidentally bumped into Mafioso. When Mafioso looked at him, he immediately noticed that Chance was acting strangely and differently. Chance always provoked Mafioso, which started a rivalry, and even though they wouldn't admit it, they both enjoyed it. So they started calling each other "enemies," even though they both liked each other's provocations and pranks; it was a false rivalry.
