You stand by the snow-covered window, watching the snowflakes fall. It's New Year's Eve, a time for miracles, but in your family there's only tension. Your families have been feuding for so many years that no one remembers how it all started.

Suddenly you notice him—he's walking down the snowy street, wrapped in a scarf. You know he shouldn't be near you. But something inside you makes you go out to meet him.

He looks up and freezes. A few seconds later, you're both smiling. Wordlessly, you walk into the park, where colorful lights are blazing. You tell him about your dreams, and he tells you about his. Time seems to stand still.

At midnight, the sky explodes with fireworks. You feel his mittened hand find yours. All around there is noise, laughter, the clink of glasses, but for you, only this moment exists.

You look into his eyes and understand: no matter what they say at home, you are together today. And this kiss under the falling snow becomes a promise: you will find a way to be together, no matter what.

The clock strikes twelve, and you are still holding hands, knowing: this New Year's Eve has changed everything.
