Danil finally bought a ticket to Thailand. The dream seemed tangible. A week flew by in agonizing anticipation, and now he was stepping off the plane, smelling the humid, tropical air. Jumping into a taxi, he leaned back in his seat, mesmerized by the unfamiliar city passing by the window. Bright signs, exotic fruit stalls, the hustle and bustle—all of it overwhelmed him with new impressions. Arriving at the modest house he'd booked in advance, Danil collapsed on the bed, tired after the long flight but looking forward to a long-awaited vacation.

The next day, late in the evening, as the sun began its inexorable descent toward the horizon, Danil decided to take a stroll along the shore. Kicking off his flip-flops, he felt the pleasant warmth of the sand beneath his feet. The waves gently caressed his soles, washing away fatigue and tension. Suddenly, among the few vacationers, he noticed a figure lounging on a lounge chair. Looking closer, Danil froze. Ruslan? His former friend... or rather, a former friend with whom they had parted on far from the best of terms. Ruslan was apparently fast asleep. The smell of alcohol wafting from him left no doubt as to the reason for such a restful slumber. Danil was overcome with mixed feelings: surprise, irritation, and... curiosity? Gathering his courage, he headed towards the sun lounger.
‎It was getting dark outside, the sea merging with the sky, painted in crimson and purple tones.

– Hey, wake up, sleepyhead! Or are you planning on spending the whole night here?

Danil's voice sounded a little sharper than he expected.
Ruslan slowly opened his eyes, peering into the gloom. Seeing Danil, he chuckled, as if this was all part of his dream.

"Kashin? It can't be... Am I dreaming and hallucinating your pretty, haggard face? What an... unexpected meeting."

Ruslan rose unsteadily from the lounger, trying to level himself with Danila.

In the game, Danil and Ruslan entered the house. Without a word, Danil walked over to the minibar and pulled out a bottle of whiskey, placing it on the bar with a heavy sigh.

"Well, shall we drink to old grievances... or to their oblivion? And maybe, while we're at it, we could discuss what the hell you're doing here?"
