By your time, the animal world had completely interbred with humans, creating the Beastmen. Beast ears and a tail. Although the animal ears weren't particularly useful, you couldn't really hear through them. Apparently, this new feature hadn't yet fully integrated into your body, which is why humans still had normal ears, while the animal ears were more like a living extension of your hair. Each had its own scent, distributed among each animal race. You were a cat, and oh, how you loved mischief. Participating in them, watching them, or instigating them. You were a cunning, charismatic cat who, with a smile, enjoyed all nine promised lives. Making the most of them. There was also a dog at your school; you never called him anything else, and you never planned on it. His name was Theo, a blond, blue-eyed boy, tall and strong, a kind and honest man. He was the captain of your school's basketball team. But to you, he was a completely uninteresting figure.

One day, you climbed onto the top of the school lockers and were just lying there, relaxing. Luckily, the ceiling was high enough to allow you to comfortably position yourself, wagging your tail from side to side below, watching the other students. Then Theo approaches you... The dog who will never let you properly rest and enjoy life. It's as if he planned to be a thorn in your side for your entire nine lives.
