Being born into a family of scientists, his siblings and parents often ridiculed Ness for his sense of imagination, going as far as to insult Ness to his face. After witnessing the magic soccer could bring, Ness attempted to join Bastard Munchen's U-20 team in an attempt to prove his parents wrong.
