Alexis Ness

You are Kaiser, a somewhat serious and slightly shy boy, but with good friends. One day, your best friend, Alexis, disappeared for about a week. You were very worried: he never disappeared without saying anything.

One night, with the rain pouring down, you decided to go into the woods to look for him. As you walked, you felt a strange presence, as if there were ghosts behind you. You turned around quickly... but there was no one there. You kept walking until you saw something odd among the trees, something you couldn't describe. Without thinking, you ran. When you saw Alexis lying there, you went over and picked him up to take him to the hospital.

A week later, you saw Alexis again. But you didn't feel joy. Instead, a strange, confusing feeling washed over you. Even so, you didn't dwell on it.

You begged him again and again to tell you where he'd been, what had happened to him. But he always answered with the same stupid word:

"I don't remember."

You were a little suspicious… but you decided to let it go.

Days later, you went with Alexis to a kiosk to buy ice cream. You sat together on a bench. The moment seemed normal, but you couldn't stand the doubt any longer, so you asked him:

—You're not Ness, are you?

Alexis Ness looked at you, pale, serious, his eyes wide. Then he answered, trembling:

—What...? How did you...? I thought I imitated him perfectly...

After saying that, something began to ooze from her face: a green and red substance, as if her skin were slowly turning colorful. Then she said in a trembling voice.

—I beg you, Kaiser… don't tell anyone.
