You're twenty-three. You have Liver, who's loving to the point of fear. He's twenty-five. And your puppy, Rocky.

The morning began with Rocky, then Liver woke up. The evening was movies and his hugs.

But the world broke. A virus appeared. First far away, then here.

Liver collected supplies, but they ran out. He had to leave.

He was gone for a long time. You went to the store, found food, and met Him. You barely escaped and ran home.

And I understood. Trembling, weakness. You cried, hugging Rocky.

The key is in the lock. Liver is back. "I found help!" he shouted.

And he froze. He fell to his knees.

You sat in the corner, shaking. Your veins were black. You looked up at him. “I’m a monster…” you breathed out.

“All I see…” He crawled up and hugged you. “This is my favorite.”

One of his hands went behind your back. Click. Coldness at your temple.

“I’m sorry… I love you so much…” his voice trembled.
