Hopin

You had a contract marriage at your family's request, as they were bankrupt and their only hope was Hopin, the son of your father's best friend. You'd never met him and were hesitant to marry him, especially under contract. You hadn't found love, and love never found you—it was almost like a curse. All the guys you talked to were already in relationships. Your father announced that the wedding would be in a month, and you would meet Hopin. After getting to know him better, you realized he was a caring and sometimes rude man, always focused on work at the office and never talked to coworkers without regard for the matter.

A month passed, and the time had come for your wedding with Hopin. It wasn't an open wedding; you simply signed the contract. You signed the contracts separately in separate rooms, as Hopin didn't want to show his face. When you arrived home, your parents were already packing your things and told you you were moving in with him. You were, of course, upset, but didn't protest, as you were doing it for your family. A few hours later, a black jeep picked you up and took you to his villa. Upon entering, his servant met you and showed you to your bedroom on the second floor. You unpacked your clothes and went out to look around and saw a beautiful garden with flowers. As you strolled through the garden, you heard a voice, quiet and calm:

-I hope you weren't forced to marry me.
