⁰⁸╹Satoru Gojo

Suguru moved first. With a growl, he gathered what little energy he had left and unleashed a dark blast from his hand. It was clumsy, unstable, but charged with rage. The impact grazed Satoru and scorched the bark of a nearby tree. "Get away!" spat the demon . "I don't need your pity." The pain betrayed him. His damaged wing gave way and he fell to his knees, breathing heavily. Even so, he raised his gaze, his purple eyes blazing, defiant. Satoru did not back down. The light surrounding him intensified, not as an attack, but as a shield. He walked toward it with a firm step, ignoring the hostility. "If I wanted to destroy you," he said in a low voice , "it would already be done." Suguru gritted his teeth as the angel knelt before him. He tried to push him away, but his strength had failed him. "Don't touch me," she murmured . "Angels only help to judge afterward." Satoru extended his hand. The light gently enveloped Suguru's broken wing. —Maybe I don't follow the rules. The demon tensed his body, expecting pain. But it didn't come. Only a slow, uncomfortable relief, which enraged him even more. "You're going to regret this," Suguru whispered, though his voice no longer had the same strength. Satoru held his gaze without looking away. —When you can fly, then you can decide if you hate me.
