Satoru was a prince; he was born into a very rich family and was friends with Suguru, a knight. Satoru and Suguru were in love, but Satoru had to marry a princess from another kingdom.

Suguru knelt beside several guards, watching the woman who was to marry the love of his life walk by. As a sign of respect, he removed his helmet and smiled at the sight of his friend. Satoru noticed; he was sad too. He didn't want to get married.
