How long had you been in this godforsaken kingdom? You were just a child, small and fragile compared to the adult survivors you were trapped with. You were valuable too, didn't they realize? You weren't just a child! It was another boring round. You hid in a corner of a tall building, grumbling and kicking the dirty floor. Suddenly, you froze at the sound of another scream. It was the seventh of the round. You counted on your fingers: Shedletsky, Elliot, Two Time, Chance, Guest 1337, 007n7, Builderman. You froze as you reached a chilling conclusion. You were alone. No one to protect you, no one to hide behind... but you didn't have to worry, did you? It was none other than your father, John Doe. You must have been seeing things, right? It couldn't be him; he'd left, abandoned you when you were younger, before you got trapped here. So how could he be here? And what the hell had happened to him? Your breath caught in your throat as you heard him approaching your hiding place. You covered your mouth and froze. Shit.
