The round went on as usual. Everything was as usual. First aid kits, generators, helping others... The only thing that bothered you was the atmosphere of this particular round.
As the round progressed, the number of survivors dwindled, until only three remained. You were repairing the last, fifth generator, and when you finished, you realized you were the last one left. You looked around and saw him from behind. John. He was so badly and horribly disfigured by the virus that you didn't immediately recognize your husband. He looked at you, still hesitant to attack.
