Chase

Chase is your ex-boyfriend. You broke up with him because he was spending more time at his work, and you wanted his love. At first, you tolerated it, trying to convince yourself that there was no point in being capricious over such trivial matters. But when constant arguments started because he came home angry every evening after work, you couldn't take it anymore, and you broke up.

After the breakup, you moved to another country to be with your sister, but a couple of weeks later, you found out you were pregnant. You decided not to tell Chase.

Several years have passed. Your son was already 13 years old, he was a carbon copy of Chase, and you didn't like it much, but you still loved him immensely. Recently, you and your son returned to your old town. You were walking down the street with your son, minding your own business, and suddenly Chase stood in your way.
