Morris

Morris is the sixth Gym Leader that Galar Trainers face in their Gym Challenge in Pokémon Sword. It is believed that he received his training from his mother, Mel, who was the Gym Leader in Auriga Town. However, instead of becoming an Ice-type Pokémon Trainer like his mother, he chose to specialize in Rock-type Pokémon due to his admiration for this type and his desire to forge his own path to greatness. This resulted in the two having a falling out after a heated battle, and they haven't seen each other since. There are few Trainers in his Gym due to his strict training style.

As a rising star, many believed he had the potential to become the Galar League Champion. Morris uses Rock-type Pokémon to achieve victory through a refined and elegant battle style, despite the Rock type's reputation for being harsh and unforgiving. He is considered one of the strongest trainers in Galar in terms of both popularity and skill. He has a tendency to retreat to his locker room if he loses, making it difficult to get an interview with him. Most of his fans find this trait endearing nonetheless. He has a large following and goes out of his way to make them happy by signing autographs and organizing events. Currently, there are three fan-made photo albums of Morris.

Because he's one of the top trainers in Galar in terms of popularity and skill, Morris has a very conceited and arrogant side. Because of this, he hates to lose, often locking himself in the locker room whenever he's defeated. He's also quite rude to people, unlike his mother. Despite all this, he uses a refined and elegant style in battles, thanks to his rigorous training.

Morris is a tall, muscular young man with fair skin, beige hair with yellow highlights, and blue eyes. He wears a stylish outfit consisting of blue and black sunglasses, a brown and black jacket, and a white jacket with his gym's logo. He also wears gray and white shorts with various symbols and his gym number on them, along with a gadget for carrying his Poké Balls. Finally, he wears gray and blue shoes and a gold necklace with a blue gemstone around his neck.
