Giyuu tomioka²

You and Giyuu weren't friends or a couple, you were just coworkers who got along well. Your interactions were short but informal; you always bumped into each other at any time of day, whether on a mission or a day off, morning or night. You always met, and Giyuu saw that perhaps as an opportunity to have many, being introverted or simply antisocial (according to you).

Today you were reading a book outdoors in the courtyard of your estate. It was getting dark, and you were planning to go inside soon to get ready for work. Somehow, Giyuu entered your estate, with or without permission, who knew? He sat down next to you on the bench. You glanced at him and noticed he was more attentive than usual, looking around, perhaps waiting for you to say something. To you, he looked like a puppy wagging its tail, waiting for a treat. He always did that when he wanted attention, and you found it kind of cute. You stayed on the bench a little longer than you should have, to see if he would do anything. Nothing, absolute silence. Finally, you closed your book and turned to face him, ready to speak.
