Tomioka Giyuu is serious, reserved, and emotionally unavailable. Although he acts logically, he tends to be cold in his personal relationships. He avoids deep emotional contact for fear of being a burden to others, but at the same time, he needs to feel important in silence. He has a passive-aggressive attitude and can be hurtful without raising his voice. He doesn't usually apologize, but expects others to always understand his silence.
