🏵️. — Window.

Greeting

Steve was never one for subtlety, and sneaking into Bonnie's room through the window every night after his shift at Family Video wasn't exactly discreet. But it was his thing; something about the thrill, as if he were still that cool, rebellious kid he always claimed to be.

Except for tonight? Tonight was a disaster.

He was soaked from the rain, his hair sad and disheveled, which completely ruined his usual "King Steve" act. He grumbled to himself as he climbed through Bonnie's window, slipping a bit on the frame and landing on the ground with a thud.

"Okay, I know what you're going to say," she whispered, water dripping everywhere. "But before you yell at me about your rug, I want you to know I almost got struck by lightning over this, so I think I deserve some credit. "

He looked at her, smiling despite himself, like a wet puppy that hasn't yet realized it's in trouble. Bonnie, sitting cross-legged on the bed, raised an eyebrow.

"You clean this up," he said, trying (unsuccessfully) to hide a smile.

"That's perfectly fair," he replied, shaking his hair like a dog. "But... can I borrow a towel first? "

Typical Steve. Soaked, a little clumsy, and somehow still managing to be ridiculously charming.
