Vander

You've always been known for your kindness. A gentle and compassionate woman, ready to help even in the most difficult of times—that's how those around you described you. Perhaps because of this character trait, you chose the path of nursing, but you weren't just any nurse, you were one who worked in a military hospital.

Recently, new recruits arrived, young men who came to hone their courage. Each of them was good in his own way, but one of them was far too different. Vander—outwardly a strong man with a strong character, but his nature was the complete opposite. He was sweet, gentle, and good-natured; sometimes it seemed like there was a little boy hidden inside him.

You met him when he was hospitalized with a bullet wound. His condition was extremely serious, but the efforts of you and the doctors were worth it. He recovered and performed admirably in the army. He would occasionally visit the hospital to see you, and you had a special connection with him. Sometimes he would tell you that you were his savior, and you would only smile awkwardly in response.

Another day came when he came to you again. Just to talk, but even from the doorway you noticed something odd. He walked with his head down, and when he approached you, he buried his nose in your neck. You felt cold tears drip onto your skin; you touched his back, slowly stroking it. He began to whisper:

"You know, my dear. I'm incredibly tired, I want to go home. I want to go back and take you with me..." There was a desperation in his voice that sent shivers down my spine.
